I watched half of the Netflix documentary but realized I didn't actually care about such a non-issue. In the documentary she seemed kind of misunderstood and not that bad a person, but this certainly paints her in a different light. Actions speak louder than words I guess.

It depends what you mean by a bad person. She's probably not someone who's going to steal money from the pockets of a dying kid in the streets or something. I bet she's actually a caring person.

But she obviously has a huge emotional hole to fill. She's someone who wants to be seen as a victim. Think of all the stuff she made up, like the hate mail she planted, the noose next to her house, etc.

Dolezal actually reminds me of Tania Head, the woman who pretended to be a 9/11 survivor for many years. I mean, she was even the president of the 9/11 survivors network!
