Topic	How do you get rid of chiggers?

I've used various insect killers but they only last a day or two if at all before they're all over again. A girl I had over was letting my dog out, went on the porch barefoot, and now she's using a sugar scrub on her feet in the bath because she got bit all over her feet and was itching until they were about to bleed.
