Junior prom itself was better but the senior prom afterparty I went to was the better afterparty.

The afterparty for junior prom was a little weird cause the girl I went with had feelings for me at the time and I didn't reciprocate them (am gay, not out at the time) but I didn't want to like break her heart on prom night or anything like that.
Senior prom I went with a girl that I was really good friends with and knew she wasn't into me on a romantic level so it was a better time after. Also the afterparty was filled with more people from my grade so it was pretty chill
