I had a decent time, but she was super on edge whenever I even talked to another girl, which is funny in its own way. Got invited by a female friend for junior prom too, but I think she was drunk and she spent half the night on an angry rant about how the prom queen (a SUPER nice girl who I personally knew through a few extracurriculars, didnt deserve it even though she was smart/funny/accomplished/polite/etc, and genuinely believed in school heirarchies and how there are preps and jocks. Im hindsight, when I look at that and some of her previous behaviors, I think she may have been on the spectrum. I think I know why you said that it was funny about her being on edge when you talked to another girl. And if I'm right, that is kinda funny... mooreandrew58 posted... live in the south, rural area. most people at that school didn't come out of the closet until after they graduated. i'm betting there was a reason for that. I think it was my graduating year (at a different school though still rural area though) I started hearing about gay proms that where held someplace other than the school. and that school actually had a lot of openly gay kids edit: this was a little over a decade ago so you know about what time frame. wanna say 2005 or 6 Yeah. Maybe not so much there. I was in Maryland. Around that time frame, actually.
