well come to think of it the goth thing wasn't my only reasoning. I doubt they would have allowed it, considering my date would have been a 20 year old guy, and well i'm a guy. world wasn't as accepting back then as it is now.
Maybe. Maybe not. My school was very accepting of gay guys. But it depends on how you think you're school would have accepted it...
live in the south, rural area. most people at that school didn't come out of the closet until after they graduated. i'm betting there was a reason for that. I think it was my graduating year (at a different school though still rural area though) I started hearing about gay proms that where held someplace other than the school. and that school actually had a lot of openly gay kids
