I have a file on PS4 that I decided I would play by handicapping myself. I decided to do this file while growing 0 crops and staying level 0 in mining/combat. Essentially I want to try and complete the bundles with only foraging and fishing and farm animals. I would stay level 0 in farming as well if possible, but I gain farming experience from raising the animals so that's just not possible. It adds a fresh struggle do it that I hope will extend past year 1. I will still need sprinklers because I intend to grow wild seeds on my farm during the seasons, but because I wont be doing any mining I'm going to have to buy all the metals from clint or receive them from fishing chests. I'm only a week or two into that farm though and so that project is on hold for now since I'm spending so much time on my farm with ermine.
