| WiggumFan267 05/06/18 4:20:26 PM #253: | Mets lose. the mets are 17-15. they started 11-1. the offense is nonexistant. the defense is bad also. the pitching and bullpen is also bad but it doesnt matter when theyre good, theyre not good enough. this team is just plain bad. and its because they had a DREADFUL offseason. Frazier was a good signing and Asdrubal was a good extension choice, but not addressing 1B/SP/RP/C needs has been a disaster. Cespedes and Conforto slumps have not helped. Not using Nimmo properly has also been bad. Gonzalez and Vargas are fucking awful. Rosario needs to live up to his top prospect hype. How come everyone elses top prospect succeeds and flourishes highly and ours fucking suck?? Feels like nothing can go right. Not to mention the injuries are starting to creep, even if they only causes missed games here and there- its still missed games. Cespedes got hurt again, probably will need a couple days, that'll hurt. deGrom missing a start is better for long term but sucks cuz we need him now. etc. At least the injurt situation is better than years past but its still an issue, but the bl is the Mets are just bad.
