In fighting games you typically exert control over your character at maximum capacity immediately when you start playing. what I'm saying there is nothing going on at any point in a fighting game where you're not in control of everything you're expected to be in control over. It doesn't mean you're good at it. It just means nothing in a fighting game happens away from your attention. It's not true for rts where someone can hide an offbase somewhere and you don't know about it. Come on man. You still know about it even if you can't see it.
