The faster pacing for the Hunter Exams is much appreciated, since it's the worst arc IMO.
I think I agree with this statement, but more by default than in the actual spirit of it.
It's the arc I like least anyways.
The rest are all great except for one problem, and it's a problem this arc shares.
And that problem's name is Hisoka.
He's not even fun to hate. I just hate him, and I hate the fact that he exists as he does.

First of all, there's the (ACTUAL SPOILERS) pedophilia, which the show keeps playing off as comic relief after an upcoming arc, but just makes me literally sick to my stomach. The fact that they continue the joke with Palm sucks, too. They're both cringe incarnate. ---
