Maniac64 04/22/18 5:25:19 PM #474:	Watched Tag World Grant Prix and want to talk a bit of CHIKARA in case anyone (jakyl) is paying attention to it. -Whisper gave Snow Troll to the creepy mad scientist guy for experimentation. It will really be interesting to see where that goes. Giant muscular Snow Troll like the other Proteus Wheel guys? Nice to see something happen with Snow troll after all this time. -Oceanea is continuting to transform and get creepier looking. Makes me wonder how far it will go. -Really curious how Fire Ant will react to the latest development with the new ants. He already attacked them for being a new colony but what about now that ~~Worker Ant has returned to mentor them. This gives them some legitimacy for being the new colony and Fire Ant has teamed with Worker Ant longer than anyone. Will he turn on him now?~~ -In the middle of the tournament we see the creation of a brand new potentially awesome tag team in Boar and Oleg. Being brought together cause they are sick of smaller guys using numbers and cheating to beat them. Should be a really good hoss team. -I have never really liked the Rumblebees as a team or cared for Solo and/or Travis, but the storyline with Travis threatening to break up the team if they don't win and the video they made of Solo talking about how much she wants them to stay together made me feel bad for Solo and support her efforts to save the team. Good storyline to make me care about something I normally wouldn't care about. Now to talk about the actual results. Was honestly really surprised with eh winner. Winning tings multiple times is so unusual in CHIKARA that I never expected Throwbacks to go back to back. Especially with the injury angle to Touchdown and the build up with Oceanea/Merlok. It seemed like they had given Throwbacks an out to lose without hurting them at all. Instead they look better than ever. They had the hardest qualifier, the hardest path in the tourney, and a seriously injured Touchdown in the finals. The fact that they are having them challenge The Closers makes so soon makes me think they will have Touchdown still hurt to help make it a tougher fight. More importantly the current Dasher storyline combined with Closers saying they have a new boss in the most recent blog leads me to this prediction. Juan Fransisco is now the Closers boss and will screw over the Throwbacks. Leading to more mocking about how Dasher can't win the big one. Overall it was a really good show.
