As many things are there are to dislike about Sessions, things with the Mueller investigation could be a LOT worse if Sessions were to simply cede to Trump's demands. Is he a PoS for other reasons? Sure. But we can also give some credit when it is in fact due. It's definitely good that he's not doing more to interfere with the investigation on Trump's behalf, but that's not praiseworthy; it's a base expectation for the job.
