I hope history remembers Jeff Sessions as one of the most righteous patriots we've ever had in office. Imagine getting treated this way under constant threat of termination, yet still standing your ground and doing the right thing in spite of what your boss is saying about it. This country would be in chaos if he didn't stand up to Trump in the way he has.

As someone with two history degrees I'd put a lot of money on him being barely remembered at all and certainly not as a patriot.

I'm sure you're right. But he is completely putting himself on the line and standing between vindictive Trumpian "justice" and the actual rule of law. Trump publicly belittles him weekly, and I can only imagine what it's like behind the scenes. But Sessions refuses to kowtow. It's pretty remarkable.

Sessions just wants to get those drug users and blacks so bad, he's willing to take the abuse.
