TC, glad you're feeling okay today. If you haven't noticed any ill effects yet, you're probably fine. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis; I hope your treatment goes well.

If you do start to feel ill, don't take any chances. Get to Urgent Care or an ER because you don't want to mess with E. Coli under the circumstances.

But I think the incidence of contaminated meat is actually pretty low because when it comes right down to it, most people have pretty bad food handling practices. If most meat were contaminated, we would have a lot more incidents of food poisoning than we do.
