Back in the days I lived off of about $650/month living alone (my rent was like 450 bucks or whatever).

These days, 780 is just a little over my electricity bill + my HoA dues, and a ridiculously tiny fraction of my mortgage payments. So not even in close.

Of course, if I was willing to go back to a more...modest lifestyle, I could do it (would have to leave the city though!). I'm particularly fond of instant ramens anyway. Probably will get sick from lack of nutrients, but I should be able to last a few months before that happens :)
