Since the dawn of time, we've fought and argued over Cartoons and Anime. What's better? Are cartoons anime? Is anime a cartoon? Who would win in a fight, Bugs Bunny or Kenshiro? We may never know the answer to these questions, but what we can do is systematically eliminate them round by round to find a winner.

A while back I ran a Save That Anime and Manga Character, with Dio Brando taking the win. More recently, Kajagogo ran a Save That Cartoon Character with Lion-O taking the win. I've put together the Top 50 of both contests, pitting the best cartoon characters against the best anime characters. Only time will tell who the victor will be. What I can tell you is that things are gonna get a little weird, they're gonna get a little wild.

Rules

Right now, you can save up to 1 characters an hour.

Right now, characters need 4 saves from 4 different users.

Characters are saved based on the order in your post, so it's advised to save your favorites first.

Please specify saves instead of specifying elimination.

The last remaining character will be eliminated.
