Even if it's faster, it's not really that much faster. It takes less than 10 minutes to boil water. On pretty much any stove that's working. We keep saying have the time. But that's a couple minutes at best. When it comes to drinks, a Keurig would be faster(and more effecient) since you just push two buttons while the cup is underneath. And most of the time, when cooking, people aren't usually in a rush. Cooking usually takes time, anyway. Trying to finish cooking something faster could make stuff taste not as good. So, I don't really see why I would need to boil water faster, especially when I would most likely need more than a liter when cooking. If you don't have a Keurig, then I can see it being useful, as they are probably a cheaper option. But it's definitely not for everyone. For some, they need it in their lives. And other just don't. Even without a Keurig, I don't think I would need it. It would be a waste of space on my already pretty full kitchen...
