Since i saw some exodus eps and spoiled it a bit, tsubaki deploying the billion Norns onto the festum was fucking amazing.

I mean Chizuru told tsubaki she has like 3 months to live or something like that. so i guess kazuki did make a new "core" back in moldova?, but then they talk as if the new "core" was the Mark Sein, and that tsubaki and sein were connected to some degree, so i'm really confused with this whole new core thing.

Also i swear to god the "talk" kazuki and soshi had after kazuki came back to the island was hilarious as hell, and him finishing with "you are really weird" made me die of laughter.

Oof you shouldn't do that tbh. Exodus really spoils the original series and it also happens after right of left and the movie so you should watch those first (the movie more because it's a direct sequel to the movie which is a direct sequel to the original series).
And yeah the escalation gets almost gurren lagann like. First few episodes it takes like 3 mechas of the MCs to take down one festum. In exodus one mecha of minor characters are blowing away thousands of the same festum like they're insects. Meanwhile there are continent sized festum that eat those fafners for dinner and the MCs have even more godlike abilities. Soushi is awkward as hell too lol but he gets a lot better in exodus.
