Topic	In the USA you no longer have to kill someone to be a murderer

That would at least make some sort of sense In my simplistic understanding, manslaughter is when a death occurs but no laws were being broken. Like hitting somebody with your car but you were not speeding, swerving, or otherwise impaired. Since this occurred due to a burglary, it fits the definition of murder.
