What part of low-carb high-fat hurts your kidney? I thought that was a high-protein thing. I could be mistaken.
When the body is in ketosis the kidneys are filtering out all the ketones from the fat being burned which are fairly large molecules compared to what they normally deal with, between that and your blood becoming slightly more acidic they can become overburdened possibly leading to renal failure
Im not saying keto is necessarily unhealthy but it effects your body in a lot of ways, people should take it seriously
