The one other issue Rikku has is somewhat limited access to MND boosting gear so her Hastega might have a shorter duration than you'd like if you don't have any of it Rikku gets a stat buff time extender with her Legend Materia 2, I use her mostly for sub30ing magicite so it's not like that short haste limit matters much to me, if it's going to be a longer fight I wouldn't use Rikku anyway. Also I prefer her over Tyro in recent stuff because Tyro's offensive stats are terrible, while he can use everything the majority of the time he's a breaker/dancer and now that bosses have 70-80% break resistances I rarely find much use for him now. Only noteworthy things he can really do is allegro con moto with Ninja magic or astra refreshing with his USB1. I know Rikku's not the heaviest hitter but she's a beefcake when compared to Tyro.
