It's a gacha game, what more can I say? But it did get a little bit of my attention for some time, most likely due to the fact that I had just bought a new iPhone and wanted something to play on it. Brave Exvius actually manages to have some semblance of a storyline and progression. I also loved the fact that you can explore the towns in this game, because they were very well designed. Some dungeons are explorable too. Seems like they put a little bit of money into this because the visuals are colorful and vibrant and the music is amazing (done by Noriyasu Agematsu of Wild ARMs 5 fame).

Problem is, the same issues that plague all gacha games are present here. Overbloated main menu screen, it's free but the game constantly tries to sell you stuff. Later on, you can barely do a battle without having to wait for your energy to replenish. I reached the third continent before I realized there was way too much storyline to go, and at that point it was getting kinda repetitive. Battles, and more specifically, boss fights were becoming pretty tough if you weren't wiping the floor with the guest party members.
