The recent ep of Ryuo no Oshigoto I found to be pretty funny discussion-wise
Ginko, the pure tsundere, treats Yaichi pretty badly throughout the show, but the last few eps, she's been pretty full force going at him, trying to kiss him or offering her body to him etc. But not only does Yaichi reject her pretty harshly, he fucking disses her shogi skills, too. It was hysterical. I couldn't even believe what I was seeing.
I joked about Ginko having no chance because she wasn't a loli with a friend of mine, but... for realsies though. A lot of comments seemed to suggest that Ginko was at fault because she can't expect a guy to like her back if she treated him like shit all series and did literally nothing much for the guy to like about her, whereas even somebody like Ai did a lot of touching things for him and openly expresses her feelings for him.
On the other side of the spectrum, the guy was also being a dick. Because he was about to lose his title, he took it out on literally all the girls in his life lol. People have commented though that when all the characters are trope-y, it was hard to take the actual drama seriously because it was also starting to be clear where the story was gonna go regardless of the drama.
Who do you guys side with anyways? Yaichi or Ginko? ---
