I've tried playing it at least 3 times. The furthest I ever got was after doing a bunch of side stuff, and then I entered the Water Temple(?). I was like "Yup. This is a Water Temple alright. I'll save and turn off the console now.".

I haven't been back since. Maybe I'll try to get into it again. Maybe...

I don't understand why people have a problem with the water temple. I had no issue with it other than being annoyed of all the back and forth I had to do. The forest temple in OoT was much more difficult for me, because if I didn't look it up, I would have never guessed that the silver key I needed was hidden outside, on top of the temple because you had to climb an vine that I thought was just scenery.
