Did you like those songs so much that you rated them positively despite the growling/screaming or do you like some of those voices. It's not personal, man. I'm just over the idea that it's a valid style of singing. In the rare cases where I rated bands better despite the same singing I'm positive it was because the music was so good it elevated my opinion of the song. Keep in mind, as I've said many times, my mood can affect a score I give. Maybe hearing so much metal, and bad metal, has made me cranky when the next metal song is posted. I'm trying to rate songs strictly by quality, but I'm just some dude on CE who has as many moods as scores I give out. I'm usually at a 7 or above, personally, but I can drop to a 2 like that. Lol.
