Conservatives see academia as one of the evils of this world so any rational sort of qualifications I'm not a conservative but this isn't really true. I think a lot of conservatives and myself view education positively but disagree with the way universities are currently run and the way liberal arts professors by and large encourage 18 year olds that don't know shit about the world to be political activists instead of simply educating themselves and sorting out their own lives.
