Plus transferring the VC games from the Wii, as well as being backwards compatible with Wii, make it a great all-in-one Nintendo machine. My gripe with it is that it's not very transport friendly with all the extra stuff you need for it (Gamepad, Pro Controllers, Wiimotes, Nunchuks, Classic Controllers, GC controllers + adapter, chargers, etc. for the full experience).
