..as well as making them illegal to own. If this passes, it will be a 5th degree Felony apparently. My home town being one of them. I live in the northern part of Columbus, Ohio, 20 minutes from the edge of the city.

The current definition for Assault Weapon (by the standards of the people creating the legislation) is any gun that houses 10 or more bullets in a single magazine, and/or is capable of semi-automatic fire.

So, in other words, all guns will be illegal, besides like...bolt action rifles, Lol. Theyre all up in arms about Assault Rifles but are going to eliminate all guns with their ignorant blanket statement of what an Assault Weapon is,

I dont own any guns, but would definitely like to get a nice pistol to go shooting with, but other than that, I get the controversy behind all this stuff. However, its painfully evident that the common man doesnt understand a damn thing about guns if this is the bill theyre proposing.

These are the same people that think Assault Rifle = standard rifle, as well as the AR in AR-15 standing for Assault Rifle.

Shooting someone with a pistol doesnt make it an assault pistol lol. Hitting someone with a hammer doesnt make it an assault hammeruh oh, better ban those while were at it...

Its sad really...
