Kinda felt like the adaptation got better as it went along, especially the last episode, which was by far the best of the bunch. The art and animation seemed to get better too. <3 Kunagisa. This was never my favorite Zaregoto book (probably middle of the pack...?) so I hope its great sales success will lead to them adapting at least up to book 3, which is my favorite of the early episodic books. I couldn't quite remember the full answer to the mystery either, so it was fun to try and pick up the pieces (I mostly failed but figured out as much as the main character did).
