So like in arena.

I don't play it as much as I used to. I used to be like an "arena main" and averaged a little better than 7 wins. However, since like Kara I stopped really playing it because kara arena was just bad. I don't really enjoy the format much anymore and only really play when something like this (wildfest) happens.

I'm assuming my win rates are being inflated right now too a little bit because I'm assuming a lot of bad players have flooded arena too.

If you're a subpar player and want to improve your arena (if you are getting 3 wins or less). The issue is probably in your drafting process. You basically want to have a game plan for your deck by like card 10 at the latest. Some classes have more strict game plans that let them succeed. Like, hunter almost always needs to be aggressive and rogue also always needs to be tempo. At this stage too I'd use something like hearth arena to help you draft.

As for actual play. You need to know your outs and potential cards you need to play around (if possible to do so). Right now though... you should not really play around much in wild arena because the card pool is just too large to do so. Like when you are in dominant positions yeah play around a flame strike but dont do so if you cant win by doing that. Know not losing is also not winning in arena.

If you are getting like 5-6 wins normally or so I'd actually have to look at your games, but a lot of the times this is like overextending or, most commonly, overtrading is going to cause you to lose some games you should have won.

Of course, arena has a level of rng in the draft that is kind of annoying. I have gone 12-0 with decks I thought were terrible and 0-3 with decks that I thought were amazing.
