| Topic | Marvel rebooting their comics AGAIN |

That mid to late aughts time period a bit before Infinite Crisis and a bit after Final Crisis. Just really what clicked with me the most, and why a lot of these "fresh" Marvel shenanigans do little for me. I want stories steeped in a comic character's history and lore, even if I don't actually know it at the time. It makes me more likely to go back to read those old comics, too! Marvel clearly isn't interested in their own back catalog, though, which is all too obvious in how the big two differ in their handling of trades. Even during the start of the New 52 They were still releasing plenty of older collections.
