Teachers need to keep a firearm nearby and be ready to use it on a teenager? Are you gonna pay them more or something? Are they not gonna have shaking hands when the shit hits the fan and actually be able to sight down the shooter (which could possibly be a teenager) and squeeze that trigger? Shooting at a target and being ready to shoot a live person (a kid, even if he's armed) is not the same thing.
