we have more murders from mass shootings being perpetrated by American Born Citizens than we do Islamic Terrorist attacks being perpetrated by people from Muslim nations...So if you really want to compare the two, one is definitely more necessary than the other.

...that said I'm not for either ban. Stricter gun control does not mean a ban.

Maybe in America. Around the world I'd be doubtful and if you give a free for all to all those people to come in... Either way it's never going to affect you and these measures are just to make the lowest common denominator feel better.

Gun control, travel bans, avoiding the ocean because you're afraid of a shark attack and avoiding flights out of fear of crashing. These are all the same.

I don't believe gun ownership is a "right."

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

I mean you're definitely wrong but even if you weren't it doesn't change the argument.

I'm confused on what your argument is. Gun control and gun banning are both equal to a travel ban?

I don't really have an argument. Just pointing out that they're both ham fisted attempts to protect people from irrational onal fears.

We do have travel controls, just like we have gun control already. Having some form of control system in place already exists for many many things
