And the actual film isn't that good. Its easily a top 10 comic book movie. The fact that its the first all black superhero movie is huge. While we had blade and hancock before neither had the success of Black Panther and also Blade wasnt a family film. Its quite easy to see why a film like this would be well received and blown up.
