Topic	The last season of The Office is really draining to watch.

With HIMYM though...... whether you liked it or not, that last season's story arc up to the finale was made completely redundant by the finale itself. (and for some, the series itself.) 22 of the 24 episodes first take place over a single day, then the last two gloss over several years worth of events that cancel out what happened that 'day'. The last bit of the finale was filmed way back in season 2 of a 9 season show. They made no adjustments to it to account for everything that happened in between then and the ending; it was an ending that would have made more sense if the show had ended no later than S5, maybe sooner. I say this as someone who did enjoy the ride. I even liked most of the final season. I thought it was a great idea for a basis of a season.
