Locking people up because they have "mental and emotional issues" is a fucking horrible solution. Someone with mental issues needs help, not prison.

If we go down that path it's a straight line to going right back to eugenics.

I didnt say lock all people up who have mental and emotional issues. I said people like this guy and the Vegas shooter who had a clearly defined pattern of unstable, volatile and violent behavior. Stripping the context of what I said is absurd. People who are a danger to others due to mental or emotional issues should not be allowed to roam the streets freely.
