He probably wussed out at the last second. They probably have him on suicide watch. Supposedly he dropped the rifle and ran during the confusion first to a Walmart then to a McDonalds where he was taken into custody. That's unusual. Most of these killers have an endgame of killing themselves. This guy wanted to live? Suppose he got away. Sure he would have been caught within a week or so... But just imagine killing 17 kids and then the next day just going to McDonalds and watching The Simpsons like nothing happened Thats why im of the opinion that people can have a moment of clarity and truly regret what theyve done. --- Sometimes people come along and they want to change things.
