Banning guns is literally the dumbest solution to this

Thankfully such idiotic ideas will never go into place

Enlighten us to your brilliant plan then. Preferably something we can enact before my daughter starts high school and gets mowed down by an assault rifle.

The thing is no matter what I say, you're just going to disagree with it. When you have such extreme ideas like "ban all guns", something which is literally impossible to do it tells me you're not really capable of critical thought

How many discussion have already been brought up that people like you just dismiss?

We've talked about more security for schools, adressing mental health, parents who actually need to parent and know what their kids are doing, a few more restrictions on gun shows, even more bold moves of having teachers with with a license be able to coneal carry, the list goes on and on

Nothing is satisfactory except some bullshit fantasy of "ban them all". Fuck that. I use guns to help put food on my table and to keep my family safe. Guns have saved the lives of people I know. I'm not going to give them up because you're scared and so you can have some false sense of security.

You use assault rifles to feed your family? What are you, a merc?

And okay, why is this talked about and never followed up on? All I hear from the right is "thoughts and prayers."

No

People don't use assault rifiles to shoot up schools either so I'm not sure what your point there is

Besides you said ban all guns, which would obviously mean the ones I use
