Some medical emergencies aren't necessarily obvious to teachers, like low blood sugar. It gives parents peace of mind to know that they can reach their child at any time, and that the child can reach them if needed. And I'm guessing you've never tried keeping in touch with a young relative who lives some distance away, because I can tell you from experience it's a lot easier when the child has their own phone. Mead posted... She cant even read but she knows the icons and uses them to watch her cartoons and play this little game that sings letters to her. She has these tiny toddler hands but they zoom around on the screen, its actually pretty impressive for somebody that falls on her butt like twenty times a day Haha, I have a one year old niece who knows to swipe the screen to scroll through pictures.
