I gave up after Hershel. I really liked him. I don't feel like I've missed anything as the show is just a shit fest of violence and gore and killing characters with the biggest shock value it can. Even when I tried to watch as much as I did at the behest of my wife and son I mostly was disgusted by a lot of it. ---
