It's like ten times or more before they stop respawning though 15 Starting class doesn't matter just fyi Well I've been dumping a lot of souls into faith expecting to do a spear build you can respec 5 times per playthrough iirc and yeah, powerstancing maces makes the game ResidentSleeper you can respec as many times as you have the item to do it, DS3 is what implemented a limit.
