I like how left and right wingers are celebrating the stock market dip for two VERY different reasons. Conservatives are happy because they know that the dip has been a long time in coming and is only a direct response to rising interest rates, which have been near zero levels since the recession until only recently. That means A) the economy is finally growing fast enough to push inflation and wages, B) there is a long-awaited buying opportunity of stocks that were pretty much universally overpriced, and C) rising interest rates means that bonds are finally a viable alternative to investment. It's a triple win scenario.

Meanwhile, leftists are celebrating because their knowledge of the stock market, economics, investment, and life couldn't fill a matchbook, and they are happy because they think the economy is crashing just like they wanted.
