Being one of the few blacks in Japan at the time, Japanese girls who were seriously into hip-hop culture would constantly chase after him. When he tried getting into relationships with a couple, they wanted him to act and dress like the thugs they saw in rap videos. It made him reflect on his weeaboo tendencies, his yellow fever fetish, and the reasons why he initially came to Japan. Yeah, I used to read his blog and keep up with his life.
