Certainly, if he's a good friend. If you're not so close then it's a judgement call.

Then decide whose confidence you value less.

He kinda treats her like crap though because he doesn't actually want to be with her and I suspect he's cheating on her too.

Then they deserve each other and looks like it probably isn't worth your time.

With the whole story, turns out, no you probably shouldn't care. Don't lie if asked a direct question but don't snitch.
