I'm home only when I sleep, basically. I get here about an hour before bed, and leave within a half hour of waking up. Unless someone else is here with me I'm not a fan of being here either. But I like that I don't have to talk to anyone or deal with anyone when I am home. It's a safe spot for me, and I feel uncomfortable having to share by safe spot with someone else. Even with a roommate, you don't have to speak to them. I think it depends on the roommates. I know some people that barely, if ever, talk to there roommates. I also know that you could always ask for privacy. Or go in your room and close a door.
