| Krow_Incarnate 01/27/18 2:35:47 PM #122: | They stopped hamfisting it so much in 8, as long as you're playing the other Kingdoms. In 7, they still gave Hua Xiong to Guan Yu even in Wu's story mode. They tease it with Sun Ce, but nope. But yes, in 8, they were a bit more neutral regarding the Jing conflict, as long as you're playing on Wu's side. Even still, Guan Yu gets to be the badass no matter who you're playing as; whether he's beamed up into space or dies on his feet. I don't even like DW5, but they at least showed his beheading at the hands of the Lu Meng. Also, I had the Liu Bei and Lu Bu scenario switched around. The point is, Liu Bei was really just an opportunist and despite that, he's portrayed as a saint in almost every form of media. And Guan Yu and Zhuge Liang tend to receive better treatment than he does. Dynasty Warriors is no different. --- Hail Hydra ... Copied to Clipboard! |
