it's one thing to not go head-on

it's another to fear melee

what i liked to do was have a fighter/thief/wizard/ranger team and use the fighter to engage enemies that make it past the damage zone fields the wizard creates, while the ranger provides sustained DPS and the thief ganks anything the fighter engages

one of the keys to success is crafting weapons, which are better than found weapons 99.9% of the time
