I can walk through that cave where the Green Dragon is to get to the southeastern continent without lighting a torch. There's something about that map and that world that's truly classic. The original Dragon Warrior is a game I can jog through every few years and really enjoy. Others did it better but none felt as essential. Just don't play the NES version - those exp tables are painful to grind through.
