You can either say: A) It was just a rare occurrence, it wont happen again so no need to make drastic policy changes Or B) Well now that word is out in how to plan this attack (stockpiling weapons with a DND sign to not attract attention) We should plan for something so this doesnt happen again. Its a very reasonable control to have now with so many psychos and the access they have to weapons.
