The US is a fundamentally much more stable than a place like Congo. If something like this happened in the US then Europe would be burning down at the same time.

This is naive.

Not at all. Believing that anything close to Congo could happen in the United States demonstrates vast ignorance of the foundations of American politics and government.

And why are you so certain of that? The dismantling of the government has already begun. Completely unqualified people appointed to positions that they routinely subvert for their own goals. Hundreds of vacant government positions. It's this sort of consolidation of power that allows a president to take control. Without someone crossing every T and dotting every I, there is less oversight and accountability. That's only the beginning.
