Yeah, their plotline was really stupid. He was also supposed to have gotten over his cowardice in the first movie.
They also did not need to have that goofy ass scene with Leia. I'm totally fine with her having force abilities and being able to protect herself in some manner of explosion like that, but the way they did it just looked stupid.
Disagree. Carrie Fisher passed away, I was expecting Leia to die in the film. It was a real surprise when she didn't. And I think that awareness of her passing had more people feeling that as well. If Carrie Fisher was still alive it wouldn't have had the same anticipation of character death ---
